Redefine Progress, 2021

This work challenges the myth of linear ascent—revealing progress as something scraped, layered, and constantly revised. A bold yellow column rises through weathered greys and blues, not as a singular path forward but as accumulated evidence of every attempt, every setback transformed into foundation, every moment of doubt that becomes the texture of wisdom. The heavily worked surface maps the true architecture of growth: visible beneath the final gestures are all the false starts and course corrections, the places where you thought you failed but were actually building something more honest than the original plan. Progress isn’t the erasure of struggle—it’s the willingness to let struggle become part of the story you’re learning to tell.
