Shipping Policy
Shipping Locations
We currently ship to addresses within the United States only, including:
- All 50 states
- Alaska and Hawaii
- Puerto Rico and U.S. territories
International Shipping:
We do not currently offer international shipping. Orders with international shipping addresses will be canceled and refunded, generally within 3–5 business days.
Future Plans: We hope to offer worldwide shipping in the future. Sign up for our mailing list to be notified when international shipping becomes available!
Shipping Costs
All shipping is free for US orders. Shipping costs are reflected in product pricing rather than added at checkout.
What this covers:
- Packaging and handling
- Shipping carrier fees (USPS, UPS)
- Tracking on all orders
- Insurance on original paintings
Processing Times
Original Paintings:
- Processing: 5-7 business days
- Reason: Each painting is carefully packaged by hand to ensure safe delivery
Fine Art Prints & Merchandise (Print-on-Demand):
- Production: 3-5 business days (Printify creates your item after you order)
- Processing: 1-2 business days (quality check and packaging)
Note: Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
Shipping Times
Once your order ships, delivery times vary by location:
Original Paintings:
- Carrier: USPS or UPS (depending on size and destination)
- Delivery: 3-7 business days after shipment
- Total Time: 8-14 business days from order confirmation
Print-on-Demand Products:
- Carrier: USPS, UPS, or other carriers (handled by Printify)
- Delivery: 3-7 business days after shipment
- Total Time: 6-12 business days from order confirmation
Estimated Delivery by Region:
- West Coast: 6-10 business days
- Central US: 8-12 business days
- East Coast: 10-14 business days
- Alaska/Hawaii/Puerto Rico: 12-18 business days
Note: These are estimates. Actual delivery times may vary based on carrier performance and unforeseen delays.
Shipping Carriers
Original Paintings:
We ship original artwork via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground, depending on:
- Package size and weight
- Destination address
- Insurance requirements
All original paintings are fully insured for their purchase price during transit.
Print-on-Demand Products:
Printify ships POD items via various carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) based on optimal routing and delivery speed.
Packaging
Original Paintings:
Most paintings are packaged with:
- Protective corner guards
- Bubble wrap or foam padding
- Sturdy cardboard or wooden crate (for large pieces)
- “Fragile” and “Handle with Care” labels
- Ready-to-hang hardware where applicable
Print-on-Demand Products:
Printify packages print-on-demand items with:
- Protective sleeves or tubes (for prints)
- Poly mailers or boxes (for merchandise)
- Tissue paper or other protective wrapping
Tracking Your Order
Tracking Information:
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking number once your order ships.
How to Track:
- Check the shipping confirmation email for your tracking number
- Click the tracking link provided
- Or visit the carrier’s website (USPS.com, UPS.com) and enter the tracking number manually
Original Paintings:
Tracking updates are provided by USPS or UPS and typically update every 24-48 hours.
POD Products:
Tracking is provided by Printify’s shipping partners. Updates may vary by carrier.
Tracking Issues?
If tracking hasn’t updated in 3 or more business days after shipment, contact us at hello@keenanstaffieri.com.
Delivery
Signature Required?
- Original Paintings over $500: Signature may be required (carrier’s discretion)
- Print-on-Demand: Typically delivered to your door without signature
What if I’m Not Home?
- USPS: Package may be left at your door, in a mailbox, or a “notice left” slip will be provided
- UPS: Package may be left at your door or at a UPS Access Point for pickup
Incorrect Address:
If you provided an incorrect shipping address, contact us immediately at hello@keenanstaffieri.com. Once shipped, we cannot change the delivery address, but we can work with the carrier to attempt address correction or package interception (fees may apply).
Shipping Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by:
- Shipping carrier delays
- Weather events or natural disasters
- Holidays or carrier closures
- Customs delays (not applicable for US-only shipping)
- Incorrect addresses provided by you
What We’ll Do:
If your order is significantly delayed (7+ days past estimated delivery), contact us at hello@keenanstaffieri.com and we will:
- Track your package with the carrier
- File a claim if necessary
- Work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible
Returns & Refunds Policy
Our return policies vary by product type.
Original Paintings
Return Window:
You have 14 days from delivery to return an original painting.
Why 14 Days?
Original paintings are one-of-a-kind artworks. We allow returns to ensure you’re happy with your purchase, but we limit the window to protect the artwork’s condition.
Conditions for Return:
To qualify for a return, the painting must be:
- In its original condition (undamaged, unaltered, not hung with nails)
- In original packaging if possible (not required if unavailable)
- Returned within 14 days of delivery
What’s Covered:
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
- Reasonable color variation concerns
- Size or style not matching your space
Return Shipping:
- Buyer’s Responsibility: You pay for return shipping unless the painting arrived damaged or defective
- Insured Shipping Required: We strongly recommend insuring the return shipment for the painting’s value
- Recommended Carriers: UPS or FedEx with tracking and insurance
Return Shipping Costs:
Return shipping costs vary by size and destination, typically:
- Small paintings (16×20″ or smaller): $15-30
- Medium paintings (20×24″ to 30×40″): $30-60
- Large paintings (30×40″ or larger): $60-150
Note: These are estimates. Actual costs depend on carrier, packaging, and insurance.
How to Return an Original Painting:
Step 1: Contact us at hello@keenanstaffieri.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Order number
- Reason for return
- Photos of the painting (if applicable)
Step 2: We will provide return shipping instructions and confirm eligibility.
Step 3: Carefully package the painting using original packaging (if available) or similar protective materials.
Step 4: Ship the painting back to us via insured carrier (we will provide the return address).
Step 5: Once we receive and inspect the painting, your refund will generally be processed within 5–10 business days.
Refund Amount:
- Full product price (minus return shipping costs, unless we cover shipping for damage/defect)
- Original shipping cost: Refunded if painting is damaged/defective; NOT refunded for buyer’s remorse
Print-on-Demand Products (Prints, Merchandise)
Printify Quality Guarantee:
Print-on-demand products are covered by Printify’s quality guarantee. If your item arrives with printing defects, damage, or quality issues, we will coordinate a resolution.
Return Window:
You have 30 days from delivery to report defects or quality issues.
What Qualifies for Return/Replacement:
- Printing defects (misprints, color errors, smudges)
- Damage during shipping (torn, stained, broken)
- Wrong item sent (incorrect size, color, or product)
- Quality issues (poor print quality, incorrect material)
What Does Not Qualify:
- Buyer’s remorse or change of mind
- Minor color variations from screen to print
- Size dissatisfaction (please review product dimensions carefully before ordering)
- Delayed shipping where the product itself is not defective
How to Return POD Products:
Step 1: Contact us at hello@keenanstaffieri.com within 30 days of delivery with:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photos of the defect (required for evaluation)
Step 2: We will review your request with Printify’s quality team.
Step 3: If approved, we will offer:
- Replacement: Free replacement product shipped to you
- Refund: Full refund to your original payment method
Step 4: Printify will provide return instructions if needed (some defects don’t require return).
Return Shipping:
- Defective Items: We cover return shipping
- Non-Defective Items: Returns not accepted unless item is defective
Refund/Replacement Timeframe:
- Approval decision: 2-5 business days
- Replacement production: 3-5 business days + shipping
- Refund processing: 5-10 business days
Damaged or Defective Items
Report Damage Immediately:
If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must report it within 48 hours of delivery to qualify for replacement or refund.
How to Report Damage:
Step 1: Email hello@keenanstaffieri.com with:
- Order number
- Description of damage
- Photos of the damage (packaging and product)
Step 2: We will review your claim and respond within 1-2 business days.
We generally respond within 1–2 business days.
Step 3: If approved, we will:
- Original Paintings: Offer full refund or replacement (if available)
- POD Products: Arrange replacement or refund through Printify
Damaged in Shipping:
All original paintings are fully insured. If a painting is damaged in transit, we will:
- File an insurance claim with the carrier
- Offer a full refund or replacement (if a similar piece is available)
- Cover all return shipping costs
Our Responsibility:
We take full responsibility for items damaged during shipping or defects in original paintings.
Printify’s Responsibility:
Printify is responsible for POD product quality and manufacturing defects.
Refund Processing
Refund Timeframe:
Once we receive and approve your return:
- Refund is generally processed within 5–10 business days
- Refund issued to your original payment method (credit card, PayPal, etc.)
Bank Processing Time:
After we issue the refund, your bank may take an additional 3-5 business days to credit your account.
Total Refund Time: Expect 10-20 business days from return approval to funds appearing in your account.
What’s Refunded:
- Full product price
- Original shipping cost (if the item is damaged or defective)
- Taxes charged
What’s Not Refunded (for non-defective returns):
- Return shipping costs (buyer’s responsibility)
- Original shipping cost (for buyer’s remorse returns)
Refund Confirmation:
You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is processed.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges.
If you’d like a different size, color, or product:
- Return the original item for a refund
- Place a new order for the desired item
This ensures faster processing and gives you control over the replacement selection.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are NOT eligible for return unless damaged or defective:
- Digital downloads (if we offer them in the future)
- Custom or personalized items (if we offer them in the future)
- Items marked as “Final Sale” (currently none, but may apply to clearance items)
Restocking Fees
We do NOT charge restocking fees for returns, except in the following cases:
- Item returned in damaged or used condition (up to 50% restocking fee)
- Item returned after the return window expires (returns may be denied)
California Consumer Rights
California Civil Code § 1723:
California law requires retailers to clearly display return policies. If a return policy is not displayed, consumers have an automatic 30-day right to return for a full refund.
Your Rights:
By purchasing, you acknowledge you have seen and agree to our 14-day return policy for original paintings and 30-day quality guarantee for print-on-demand products.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Carrier Responsibility:
Once a package is marked as “delivered” by the carrier, it is considered successfully delivered. We are not responsible for packages stolen after delivery.
What to Do if Your Package is Stolen:
Step 1: Check with neighbors, building management, or family members who may have accepted the package.
Step 2: Verify the delivery address on your tracking information matches your actual address.
Step 3: Contact the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS) to file a claim.
Step 4: Contact us at hello@keenanstaffieri.com. While we cannot offer refunds for stolen packages, we will:
- Assist you in filing a carrier claim
- Provide order documentation for police reports or insurance claims
- Offer a goodwill discount on a replacement order (case-by-case basis)
Prevention:
- Request signature confirmation for high-value orders (contact us before ordering)
- Use a secure delivery address (workplace, trusted neighbor)
- Track your package and plan to be home on delivery day
Order Cancellations
Before Shipment:
You may cancel your order before it ships by emailing hello@keenanstaffieri.com with your order number.
Cancellation Window:
- Original Paintings: Within 24 hours of order placement (before we begin packaging)
- POD Products: Within 12 hours of order placement (before Printify begins production)
After Shipment:
Once your order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. You must follow our return process once you receive the item.
Refund for Cancellations:
If you cancel before shipment, you will receive a full refund, generally within 5–10 business days.
